Welcome to our website dedicated to our family, hobbies, and interests. We are Deron and Tiffany Evers. We are both from the suburbs of Houston, Texas.
Our oldest daughter, Jillian Rose, was born in 2004 and our youngest daughter, Avonlea Joy, was born on Thanksgiving Day of 2009. We are completely in love with both our girls and cannot imagine our lives without them. Jillian is a very happy and bright little girl and she just melts our hearts when she smiles at us. Avonlea is a happy baby and she adores her big sister. Our lives are pretty much devoted to our girls, our family, work, and church, so we don't get to update our portion of the website much anymore!
Before Jillian came along, we were the "parents" of two dogs, Shakespeare and Duchess. Shakespeare developed some problems and we now only have Duchess. She is a Bichon Frise/Maltese mix, but seems to be all Maltese. Duchess is a very laid back dog. She likes to lay around on the sofa (when invited) and watch the comings and goings of the people in our neighborhood through our front door.
We love movies, but our trips to the movies have dimished enormously since we now have our darling little girl. We have gone a handful of times since she arrived, but we definitely don't see movies like we used to.
We also love to travel. For our honeymoon, we traveled to Williamsburg, Virginia and then went on to Washington, D.C. As a wedding gift, we were given a fantastic trip to San Antonio to stay in a bed and breakfast for a weekend. We also had the chance to go to the Branson, Mo and Eureka Springs, AR area where we enjoyed the attractions, shopping, and lots of time together to recharge. The past two years we've been to Disney World twice and also to San Antonio again with Jillian. In the future, we would like to go to South Carolina, North Carolina, Philadelphia, Connecticut, NYC to see some Broadway shows, and to Las Vegas to visit the amazing hotels. Hopefully, we will also have a chance to go to Europe together.
After Avonlea was born, we started a business called The Tree Swing for the sale of high-quality children's products. The original intent was to introduce others to the fantastic world of cloth diapering. As we got into this realm, we realized how many wonderful natural products are available that many people have not had the chance to learn about. This business is special to us because we believe strongly in the things we sell and the lifestyle that accompanies the concept of parenting in a "back-to-basics" way.
